Quality assurance at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science UL

The Quality Monitoring and Self-Evaluation Committee of the Faculty of Computer and Information Science of the University of Ljubljana (FCISUL) has up to nine members, of which at least five from the Faculty’s higher education teachers, at least two from students and at least one representative of the Secretariat (Article 75 of the Rules on the Organisation and Functioning of the FCISUL, adopted in February 2021).

Members of the FCISUL Quality Monitoring and Self-Evaluation Committee for the 2018 to 2022 term of office

The FCISUL Quality Monitoring and Self-Evaluation Committee (Article 75 of the Rules):

  • shall define the Faculty’s vision and mission and submit them to the Senate of the Faculty for approval;
  • shall prepare self-evaluations of the quality of research, teaching and administrative work at the Faculty, assess their compliance with the Faculty’s vision, and produce annual reports;
  • shall prepare proposals for action plans and measures for improvements;
  • shall prepare a plan for strategic overhaul of the Faculty in accordance with international guidelines;
  • shall conduct and be responsible for procedures for obtaining accreditations and re-accreditations;
  • shall perform other tasks that fall within its substantive framework or are determined by the Faculty’s Senate.
