Quality assurance at the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport UL

The Studies Quality Assurance Committee of the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport of the University of Ljubljana (FMSTUL) is comprised of five members: Head of the Maritime Studies Department, Head of the Transport Technology Department, two higher education teachers and a student representative, who is, as a rule, President of the Student Council (Article 74 of the Rules of the FMSTUL, April 2019).

Members of the FMSTUL Studies Quality Assurance Committee for the 2019 to 2021 term of office

The FMSTUL Studies Quality Assurance Committee (Article 74 of the Rules):

  • shall prepare annual self-evaluations of the quality of teaching work at the Faculty and participate in the production of annual reports;
  • shall be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the quality level of teaching, scientific research and academic work and shall regularly carry out self-evaluations and submit them to the Faculty’s Senate for adoption;
  • shall prepare proposals for improving the quality of teaching work at the Faculty;
  • shall perform other tasks that fall within its substantive framework determined by the Faculty’s Dean or Senate.
