Quality assurance at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics UL

The Quality Assurance Committee of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Ljubljana (FMPUL) has seven members: four from the Faculty’s higher education teachers and researchers, one from its technical staff and two from students (Article 32 of the Rules of the FMPUL, June 2020).

Members of the FMPUL Quality Assurance Committee for the 2019 to 2021 term of office

The FMPUL Quality Assurance Committee (Article 32 of the Rules):

  • shall define the Faculty’s vision and mission and submit them to the Senate of the Faculty for approval;
  • shall monitor, assess and ensure the quality of work of the Faculty, its study programmes, and its scientific research and academic work and participate in the production of business reports;
  • shall prepare action plans and measures for improvements;
  • shall prepare a plan for strategic overhaul of the Faculty in accordance with the adopted national and international guidelines;
  • shall perform other tasks that fall within its substantive framework or are determined by the Faculty’s Senate.
